Today is the Incept Day or Birthday for one of the most enduring character in the history of sci-fi movies, Roy Batty. Birthday wishes are popping up all over the interwebs.
Batty for those who haven’t seen Blade Runner (and if you have haven’t seen it, put down you interwebbing device and go watch it) was an artificial human called a Replicant. The character is played by Rutger Hauer. Batty becomes the leader of a group of renegade Nexus-6 replicants. Batty battles Harrison Ford’s character in the film Agent Agent Deckard.
In the film his birthday is verbally referred to as in 2016 but the full birth date appears on screen. January 8, 2016.
