Mick Foley Talks About His Series, Vince McMahon, Dee Snider

WWE hall of famer Mick Foley recently discussed the origons and tone of his new WWE Network series, “Holey Foley” in an interview with NewItem.com. You can check out some highlights below and the full interview at this link:

“(Holey Foley) kind of came out of nowhere. Many opportunities don’t come to fruition for one reason or another. The pilot, or sizzle reel as they call it, was actually found by Vince, and when he saw it, he loved it. We already have a core audience with the network, and I have no doubt that if people give it a try, they will enjoy it. ‘WWE is really excited about the project. We have our core audience of wrestling fans, but this is the first of the network’s original programming directed at the general public.’

There’s not a lot of writing, mostly setting up scenarios where we react more than act. I am actually enjoying it more than some of the acting experiences I have had. Even heavy metal legend (Twisted Sister front man) Dee Snyder stops by to give a singing lesson on one episode.”
