Mick Foley Talks Necro Butcher Retirement

Indy hard core wrestling star Necro Butcher retired at last night’s Pro Wrestling Syndicate show. WWE Hall of Famer and hardcore legend Mick Foley shared a moment from Butcher’s retirement on his Facebook page:

“The retirement of The Necro Buther at last night’s ?#?ProWrestlingSyndicate? show in Sayreville, NJ resulted in one of the best spots ever called in the ring. Following a wild melee in the main event in front of a sold-out crowd, Necro Butcher, famous for staple guns, thumbtacks, shards of glass, and other instruments of destruction, was saved by a middle-aged man with a sweat-sock. While gifting the deadly sock on this historic night, Necro called the spot… or I guess it would be more accurate to say that he asked me if he should call the spot: “should I asked my girlfriend to marry me in the ring?”, he said.

I didn’t even need to think about it. “Absolutely!”

And so he did.

And the girlfriend, like the crowd, said “YES, YES, YES!”

It was one of the greatest endings to any show I have been part of.
